Will a taylormade burner give me more yards.?
For the last year or so I've been using a Wilson Deep Red driver. I typically hit around 250yds with it. Will a Taylormade burner give me more yards?
NO, it won't...only swingspeed, spin rate, loft and shaft will change distance. Stock shafts are worth about, $8.00, wholesale...the cost to Taylormade. Install a good shaft...not neccessarly an expensive shaft. Many expensive shafts can be had for as little as $30.00 for a $175.00 shaft on ebay. Get it "spined" or "pured"...makes a huge difference! High end shafts, just reduce the dispersion rate of the driver...example...if you hit a stock shaft all over the place, a high end shaft will narrow your misses by about 50%, meaning, even on a bad shot...the ball will still end up in the fairway.
