Max Limited
Any idea what the max weight limit of a rider can be for a newer Honda Ruckus?
I am looking to buy a scooter. I weigh 220 lbs. I don't want to spend $2k on a Ruckus only to find that my fat ass is ruining it. Does anyone know the max weight allowed? Does anyone have experience with the Ruckus and higher weights. I want a scooter than can move but support my weight at the same time. All replies are appreciated. Thanks
The Ruckus is a solid scooter and can handle extra weight a lot better than any chinese scooter. Japanese scooters are really sturdy. I weigh 200 and had no problems riding a Metropolitan around for an evening. It snapped right up to 38mph, and pulled hills well.
They are also highly modifyable.
too bad they dont qualify as a "moped" in all states (even though its a 49cc) because of their 38mph Top speed (moped limit is 30) so, get your endorsement!

Most scooters is 350lbs. the ruckus is a single seater, but the same construction as larger scoots...you`re safe.
