Golf Team
Help to make my High School varsity Golf Team?
I want to join my High Schools Varsity Golf team, but ive never played golf on an actual course before. I putt extremely well, but I dont know the farthest distance which will at least help me get on the jv team. And anyone have any tips on how to hit the ball?
Ignore these people, the team does not start practice until late summer. That gives you plenty of time to get an instructor, have your parents get you a set of clubs and a membership, and you can play with people on the varsity team. The worst thing that can happen is you make JV or none at all, if you make JV though at least you can get more practice. The instructor will be your best bet though and will tell you if you are ready whenever late summer rolls around.
