How To Connect The Nintendo Wii Remote To The Items In The Sport Accessories Pack?

we only got a nintendo wii for xmas yesterday and the wii sports accesorys pack how to connect the items like baseball bat, tennis racket and golf stick to the wii remote?

they're just plastic shells that the wiimote fits into. there's no "connection" as such. just stick in the wiimote and go.
