What Kind Of Gift Is Best For A 21 Year Old?
What on earth do you buy for a guy turning 21, who's only interests are cars and golf?! I'm struggling to think of any original ideas, this is a big birthday, I don't want to just buy him some golfing accessory, or an exhaust pipe, this needs to be special! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ![]()

Get him a few pints down the pub as when you get to 21 birthdays and Christmas are another time for a piss up, I was 21 in April so I know what I’m going on about.

You could get him one of those driving days out, where he gets to drive a ferrari? Or maybe a night at a golf club/hotel.
Hope this helps. xxx

Buy him 21 gifts. One for each year, wrap them all individually & the put them in a big box. Some suggestions…A wallet with some money in, a personalised golf ball, a pack of tees, a funky tax disc holder, a chammy leather to polish his beloved car, his favourite band CD, tickets to the cinema, anything that shows you really know him & have put a lot of thought into it. They don’t have to be expensive it depends on your budget

Money always goes down well! My kids got loads and one has gone travelling, the other put it towards her first car. Not something we could fund outright, but all the money together was considerable – and of more use then tons of tacky pressies and engraved beer tankards etc.

Well, since you made it apperant that he is turning 21, then it sounds like turning 21 is the theme of the birthday, and most people associate that with alcohol. So get him a drinking game, or a bottle of alcohol, or some martini shaker, or something.
But for a typical birthday, good gifts include a nice watch, your favorite cologne, a video game(?), nice clothes, a little at home mini putt thing (like you see in movies), a model of his favorite car or something, a good book, a grilling set, CDs, tickets to a show or game, and some other stuff I can’t think of at the moment.

A few suggestions I’ve just come up with would be
Driving gloves (if he’d go for that.)
Something for the car (maybe some cool vinyls or something, to customize his car)
May be difficult to arrange, but maybe some golf tuition and lesson from a professional golfer, to help improve his performance at the favoured sport.
Another idea would be to try and get him a place into a golfing tournament, or organize it for him to go see a golf game.
Those are the only idea’s I could think of that encompass his two major interests
Hope these idea’s help.

Subscription to Top Gear magazine?
Dont know what your budget is, but how about oneof those driving days – you can drive a porsche, or do rally driving, off road experience etc.
Hire him a fancy car for the day? There are companies that hire out lambourghinis etc, my mate had one for his wedding.
Or maybe try a day at a racetrack. A lot of laces like donnington give away free tickets for promotional wekends.
