Golf Sets For A Beginner?

with 6 comments

Hello,

I've become more interested in golf lately, I've been going to the golfing ranges, a few courses with a friend, and I really want to take up this sport. I just don't know the really good club brands, accessories and stuff.

What beginner stuff do I need? And, do you know any nice-looking beginner sets? and price ranges?

Thank you!

use Dunlop set.good luck!

  1. Well some of the most expensive brands are Callaway, Nike, and Titleist. For a beginner i would just recommend going to any store that sells golf club sets. They are not as expensive as the first brands. Then if you still into golf in a few years then get the nicer golf clubs. they probably cost 150 to 300 dollars.

  2. Greetings Beginner,

To become the best golfer you can be, you must seek preferably a PGA Professional Golfers advice on the type of clubs you need as well as the length and flex of the shaft. Golf is a demanding game at the best of times, clubs that are heavy stiff and short/long can really make it much more difficult.

Do yourself a favour and see a local pro. He will give you the best opinion..

  5. you will be most likely twempted by a set of clubs selling for 200- but NEVER BUY THEM

thwey are called knockoffs, and arent great quality and most likely, break. i suggest http://www.callawaygolfoutlet.com

for some great deals on last years models for a fair price and alll the clubs are good quality. but places like golfdiscount.com
, rockbottomgolf.com are good places to start, and never buy anything other then titleist, callaway, nike, ping….etc ( go to golf galxy.com and scroll to the bottom until you find the logos for the club makers and try those out)

try the websites below and you will find something ( p.s. dont trust any complete set under $500 or iron set under 300…….all clubs should cost over $40 for it to be real)

p.s.s. click on the link with cleveland fol on it to find most of the online dealers
