Wood Hybrid

Is a 19 degree 2 Iron Hybrid the same as a 19 degree 5 Wood?
I was just curious if they were the same and why they might be different.
Absolutely not,
Just because the angle is the same, that does not make these two clubs equal. A 2iron hybrid is usually smaller with a lighter shaft, thus making it more accurate, causing lower ball flight, and usually lacks distance compared to a 5 wood. The 5 wood has a bigger center of gravity, moment of inertia, heavier shafts (usually), and typically has a much higher ball flight. However, usually you lose some accuracy with the 5 wood compared to the 2iron hybrid. Just depends on the brand, shaft, and overall make of the club.
