Pull Cart
Why wont my go cart pull me when i press the gas?
Well i know it has plenty of power but when you press the gas it will make the clutch smoke after a while. Does the chain tension need to be adjusted or do i need a new clutch? I am tryin to fix it so i need to find out pretty soon. Every once and a while it will go a little but then it stops after about 10 feet. Please tell what is wrong if you know at all.
the centrifugal clutch needs to be replaced. Take the old one off and take it to the shop where you intend to buy the new one and that way you should get exactly what you need. Don't lose the little key that is on the shaft. You'll need that. If you don't know which shop to use, you can try the sears shop or some kind of saw shop or maybe even a lawn mower repair shop.
