Water leaks into the front passenger foot area?
I have a 1997 Volkswagen Golf Gl and sometimes it leaks water from the foot area of the front passenger side. I believe it could either be coming from the AC vents for the feet or it could be something else. At times a little handful of water comes out, but sometimes a very large amount comes out to where i have to get a towel to soak it up from the carpet there. Is it something major that I have to take it to a mechanic or something minor so I can fix it and how? Thanks 
it sounds like the heater core is leaking, but it could be the air conditioning evaporator tube. The evaporator tube is an easy fix, just shoot some compressed air into the tube to unclog. If it is the heater core, you will probably need a mechanic to replace it for you.
