Putter Right
what are the qualifications for being a shot putter for a high school track team?
this year I figured since football season is over with I'll just play another sport.So i tried out for the basketball team and found out that I am not a good basketball player like everybody else is.So a friend of mine said that I should try the track team and that I could be a shot putter or something. So now I need to know how to prepare for tryouts and what it takes to be a shot putter. So can somebody please help me?
Hi, shot putters are usually quite big and strong you need strong shoulders and legs. Watch videos on youtube to get your form nice. Its not that hard it will be easier for you probably since you play football (strong) you shoule make it i absolutely love track & field its very fun i also got the school record for shot put when i was younger
